    Pantec loading instructions

    Multistar Pantec Receiver Programming

You must use a Windows XP computer for programming receiver.

Connect your receiver to your computer with the serial cable, and power up the receiver.

Load up the "2300_2500_1500 Downloader" software.

Select the correct "Serial Port" for your system (usually com 1)

    "Baud" Should be "115200".

For "STB Model" enter "key:global" exactly, without the quotes.

Under Bin File select the ****" file.

Click "Download" and wait for your RECEIVER to be updated. Note that you must wait for the message "Download Complete", at which point your RECEIVER will reboot. DO NOT STOP UPDATING OR DISCONNECT YOUR CABLE WHEN IT REACHES "100%" - WAIT FOR THE "DOWNLOAD COMPLETE" MESSAGE!

Now, load up Gtools software. You must use a Windows XP computer for this (Don’t worry about the "Error" message at start up, press OK)

Open the channel list file "N2 Channel List 110-119 Dec 2005"

Note: Do not delete the "Nagravision2" Satellite on the Satellite List

In Gtools, Go to OPTION -> STB SETTING and set it to Type2, and click "OK".

Go to TOOLS -> STB CONNECT

Select your COM port (usually com 1), and then click the Download button.

Wait for the download to complete, like earlier, and your RECEIVER to reboot. Once completed, disconnect receiver from PC.

Hook up RECEIVER to TV and cable, and power, and turn receiver on.

On the receiver remote control press MENU,

Go down to Parental Control, and press OK, go down to Second PIN, and enter "0000",

Go down to SET DEFAULT KEY, PRESS OK

Exit out of all menus and you are finished.

    Enjoy

AS always use at your own risk
