HD receivers

I am looking for information on HD receivers any info will be appeciated

You are going to want to look at the amount of support for the receivers and also how much you are willing to spend. I have a VS9000HD and its great, just don like the fact that its still in beta. If I were to buy a different one I would have to go with the SonicView 8000HD. But it all depends on you.

Thank you for the 2 cents now I only need about another 498 cents.
I have the VS Ultra And the VS Xtreme and I like the support and the receivers, I have heard that the sonic View is a good receiver. I want to invest in a good receiver

Every owner of various HD boxes I've talked to wished they had bought an sv instead, including me.

My opinion may change if the CW3K ever works as advertised.

And being the Viewsat guy that I am, when the HD9000 finally gets out of the Beta environment then I'm sure it will be the elite of the elite.

The SV 8000 is definitely a good receiver with the exception of the remote which sucks big time and the USB that doesn't write files to the receiver. The picture is awesome and the set up is simple and quick.
