As you are all fully well aware, Bev and Dish have both been playing games in regards to ECM's recently! So I thought, instead of doing a UFC vote for our next contest, we would do a slightly different vote. ;)

So here it is..

You must vote Yes or No in the poll, AND POST BELOW WITH YOUR ANSWER to the following question:

Will BOTH Bev AND Dish be up at all times on Xmas day? (The 25th... Obviously!!)

If you vote YES, you are saying both providers will be up at all times on the 25th.

If you vote NO, you are saying AT LEAST one of the providers will down for SOME period during the 25th of December!

Technology companies usually stop implementing changes to their systems during the year end, about 2 weeks before Dec 31 and the first week of Jan. That being said if fixes are working by then, they will prolly be up until after the holiday period and closer to NFL "Prime Time" we'll see another wave of hits. I can't comprehend though why they'd want to block ppl from watching TV as more advertising is being done this way.

With recent events in mind, I think there's a strong possibility of an ECM on Christmas Eve or before that will leave many of the receivers out of luck. Coders in Asia may be off for Christmas which is a day ahead of the US. Americans may be out of luck.

in my perspective i beleive that dish and bev will not be up on December 25th 2007. I can easily say this because well one day dish comes and bev doesnt and the other day bev is on and dish is not. Which means that on that day one of the providers will be on. Since christmas is here the coders wont bother getting the files/codes since they will be busy with enjoying the holiday. As you look at the weather it wont be easy to get your signal as you see in some parts of north america there blizzards happening.
