View Full Version : WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE POP UP ADS?

What the hell is with all the pop up ads on every page? I would not have paid for a membership if I knew that the site was going down this road. And yes I know what caps mean. I think it is just as rude as the rest of you do, but so are these ads.

? i have no adds. can you set your browser to not allow popup's?

Hmm.. please take a screenshot when you next see these popups.
We will look into the situation and hopefully we'll be able to rectify the issue.
Rest assured PureFTA has not purposely begans displaying popups on our pages.

I think that I have over reacted Big time; I am going to do some house cleaning for adware. Sorry for the hub bub and rudness on my part and thanks for the quick responce.

If members could please report if they experiance anymore popups from now on that would be great. I have made a few changes and believe I have rectified this issue.

I ran Window Washer and AdAware and that seems to have solved the problem. I had my Pop up blocker set to med. and is now on high. Sorry again for the rudeness, but I hope that it at least catches the eyes of some other members with same problem.

no you were right I have pop up sneaking in on me to, I run a clean up program that has tracking cookies removed for now.my guess is someway this site has got invaided by some out side source.

I have never had an issue with this site, if you do then please check your browser's settings and get yourself a good adware/trojan/antivirus removal tool, or read JP's responce here on this thread and do as he say's and it will be taken care of. ;)
