unable to download attachments

Whenever I click on an attachment, all I get is a blank page. Thought it might be Firefox, but same thing happens in IE.... Ideas?

Things have been hectic recently with manually upgrading VIP's, optimising the server, and also finalising the offshore server move.
Many files were lost a month or two ago, and this is now my main priority to get these back as soon as possible.
