With the CW100R you can also load bin files to a CaptiveWorks receiver:
-get whatever the latest file is and save it on a memory stick or SD card.
-rename the file to "SETUPBOX.BIN"
-put receiver on standby
-go to the Play file in the recorder menu, find your file and click OK.
This assumes you have the appropriate connection (straight cable) between the 600P and the 100R.
To update the CW100R firmware itself:
-get whatever the latest file is and save it on a memory stick or SD card.
-rename the file to "TVBOXROM.BIN"
-go to the Play file in the recorder menu and find your file and click OK.
