Channel Editing/Sorting

Does anyone know if there is a program out there that can download your current channel list from your receiver and allow you to re-arrange/delete channels? And then upload back to the receiver. I've seen some program that can alter an existing bin file of channels and then upload that, but I'm pretty sure I have channels which aren't in that bin file, ie. locals.

I use Normal channel setup versus using SID sorting and group channels together and whatnot. I know it can be done with the remote, just a big pain.

Wouldn't having to connect a PC to the receiver, run the program, do your sorting and whatnot, and upload the modifications be more work that just a few clicks on your remote?
