Wrong file

My friend put the wrong file on his 600p, he put the 1.36 file which is for the 600s, I have a viewsat and don't know too much about the CW's, any help on how to fix would be great.

I would suggest that he resets the receiver's data base and then install the factory bin. If that works then install the latest fixes.
Bear in mind that I don't have one of those receivers, but that is what I would do, if I did.;)

It's just another term for a factory default.
You will want to do this before and after loading the factory
then again after loading the current 600S file.
