View Full Version : "E029" Message when I start the loade 1.05

Im having problems loadind the Bin for the CW 600S, when I press start first it said "A000" and then the LCD Display said "E011", and the percent stood at 0%...does anybody knows whats wrong??

I already tried in "Boot Mode" , "Standby Mode"...somebody help me...Im about to go crazy!!!!:(

First your using the wrong loader, should be CW Loader Version 1.06 (http://www.purefta.com/forum/captive-works-loader-factory-bin-utilities/6588-cw-loader-version-1-06-a.html), also make sure you are using a null modem cable, and next time tell us which CW model you have, if you enter the wrong file you will damage your receiver

I have the CW 600S (the regular box).....The cable Im using is the one the CW 600s brings , and Im using a USB adapter to conect it to the computer.

I have been sucesful putting the keys manually , but I want to do it this way becasue I know is way better...thanks

You'll have to try in standby mode if you are using a usb->ser adapter, if it works at all.

I'd try to find a computer with a real serial port and give that a shot, or clone it from another 600s. What you are seeing is the classic usb->ser choking and dieing while trying to run a burn.

There may be various parameters you can tweak with depending on the usb->ser driver. I haven't gone there but it seems there should be some way to get these adapters to work correctly. Unfortunately ou are on your own with that approach. I gave up and got a 100R simply to burn firmware to my 600P so I didn't have to go through this headache.

Yeap , I think it has to be a problem with the comunication with the adapter...I think I will look for a computer with the port so I wont have to use the adapter...thanks

Thanks ...the problem was the USB adapter...I did it trough a computer with the serial port and it went trough...tHANKS
